stunned silence as I gaze
paralyzed by feeling
overwhelming flood
awash in gravity
pulling down
me around you
you around me

you laugh and giggle and tell me I look so serious.
all I want to do is cry because it all hit me -
just now - smacked me in the head like a storm window flying open
from gale force winds.
