There is a red cardinal outside my window chirping and singing and hanging out. A week ago when I looked outside my window all I wanted to do was cry. They cut down all the small trees, all the lovely green brush that was so wonderful to look at and reach out and touch. Until now I was so upset about it and all I could think of was how and why would they ever do this?
Now I see that sometimes, in order to appreciate the full beauty and simplicity of a beautiful little red cardindal, first you have to clear the brush and the weeds.
